Pool Party!

We spent this past weekend at my parent's house in Battle Creek and Levi got his first chance to go swimming in their pool. He loved the water and we all had a great time. Levi also took his first solo steps recently, and even took 5 steps on his own this weekend for Grandma and Grandpa Chapin to see. It was a pretty tiring weekend and everyone (except Dad, of course) slept the entire trip home. In fact everyone but me went to bed early tonight too. Then what am I still doing up? Good night!

First steps -- hooray! I love the "drunken sailor" phase. :o) Frankly, I'm nostalgic for it, having just spent our vacation chasing Ethan through Plymouth Plantation, Downtown Boston, museums, restaurants, and more than a few "travel plazas" on the New York Thruway! I now have to run full speed to catch up with him if he gets a little bit of a head start. Oy!

Looks like he really liked the water! Glad you had a nice weekend.
